Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition seemingly in the works, could cost $1500
In recent years, Huawei’s various Porsche Design edition smartphones have popularized the release of luxury devices designed in partnership with well-known brands. In fact, most recently, Chinese rival Oppo launched a Lamborghini Edition of its Find X flagship, while Xiaomi is rumored to be preparing a Ferrari Edition of the Mi Mix 3. According to the most recent leak, though, it appears Huawei sub-brand Honor may also be developing its own offering, although this time in partnership with Rolls Royce.
The product in question is understood to be a special edition of the Honor Note 10, which is set to be unveiled on July 26. This means consumers should expect a huge 6.9-inch display with trimmed bezels all around. However, while the regular Note 10 makes use of a glass build, rumors point towards the possible use of ceramic in the Rolls Royce variant, a material previously seen on the Mi Mix 2S
. Also, on the color front, the device should be available in silver and will feature a prominent Rolls Royce logo on the rear.
Moving on to internal specifications, the Kirin 970 processor present in the regular Note 10 should be expected, although RAM and internal storage are set to receive a boost to 8GB and 256GB respectively. Moreover, looking at the camera department, a main 24-megapixel sensor that makes use of AI enhancements will be featured on both the front and the rear, although the latter one will also be accompanied by a second 16-megapixel alternative. Plus, Android
8.1 Oreo should be expected straight out of the box alongside a possible Rolls Royce version of EMUI.
Presently, the Rolls Royce Edition of the Note 10 looks set to make its official appearance later this month alongside the regular variant, although it’s unclear if sales will commence at a later date. Regardless of this, though, if sources are accurate, the Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition could cost as much as $1500.
